Usage

You keep ownership of your notes, and give Example Inc. a licence to host, copy and process them to run and improve the app. You cannot use it to break the law, send spam, or build a competing product.

Feedback & improvement

Example Inc. trains its AI models on your notes by default. Switching off Model Training in settings covers only what you add after the switch. Feedback you send is Example Inc.’s to use freely.

The terms do not say what happens to notes added before you switch it off.

Legal ramifications

Example Inc. provides the app "as is" and caps its liability at your last 12 months of payments. Disputes go to individual arbitration with no class actions, and you can opt out by email within 30 days of sign-up. California law applies. Example Inc. can change the terms with 14 days’ notice.
